Isolated mill

This is an older watercolor painting I did almost a year ago. It was one of my first landscapes done in the medium and while I'm satisfied with the painting, I still think I made a few arbitrary decisions to darken and add detail to some of the trees.

This is a drawing I did of a friend of mine. She was on her lap top most of the time, but I noticed that helped put her at ease and kept her still. I wanted to highlight her prominent cheeks and her wavy hair.

All is forgiven

This is a digital drawing I did in my Illustration class. Our project was inspired by the History Channel Special "Life After People." This is my fist foray into landscapes that have been inspired almost completely out of imagination instead of me relying on "en plein aire" or photo references.
